FAQs
How long is a counseling session?
Typically sessions last 45-50 minutes.
Is our session Confidential?
Yes. We follow legal and ethical requirements of counseling and healthcare to protect your confidentiality. There are exceptions when safety of the client or others is at risk that disclosure of confidential client-therapist information may be released.
How long will my Counseling Take?
The length depends on the issues you are seeking in counseling. Some issues can take only a few sessions while others may take much longer. You can discuss this with your therapist.
If I miss an appointment what happens?
There is a high demand for appointment times. Should you need to cancel your appointment a 24-hours notice is required to avoid fees. If proper notice is not given, your session will be counted as a missed session and you will be charged the full counseling fee. Please keep in mind; any fees that assessed for missed appointments cannot be billed to your insurance company or bishops. These fees are due in full at the time of your next session.
