Rosemary Smith
Rosemary serves as the clinical director of Cornerstone Counseling and Education. She has over 20 years of experience working in mental health. Rosemary received her master’s degree in Social Work from Northwest Nazarene in Nampa, Idaho.
Rosemary provides the LifeStar Rexburg (sexual addiction and betrayal trauma) and LifeStyle Transformation (compulsive food addiction) both are intensive outpatient recovery programs at Cornerstone Counseling.
Rosemary specializes in working with individual’s trauma, couples struggling with relationships, and individuals who numb their pain through compulsive or sexual addictive behaviors. She is a certified APSATS (Partners of Sexual Addiction Trauma specialist) and a certified EMDR Trauma Specialist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which includes learning relaxation/calming resources (mindfulness, meditation, imagery, etc.) to manage symptoms and triggers.
Rosemary’s clinical focus is to help individuals make the changes in their lives that they want to make while helping them remove the barriers, traumatic emotional response, and belief systems that keep them stuck.
Rosemary is an excellent therapist, facilitator and presenter. Her unique set of skills is available for individuals seeking healing in their personal lives.
Rosemary has done workshops, lectures, and facilitated group discussions on sensitive issues in order to increase understanding of these issues and facilitate change.
Trevor Rasmussen

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2005 and Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2006, both from Boise State University. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker and State Qualified Clinical Supervisor and have been providing counseling services since 2006.
I specializes in treating pornography and sexual addiction, trauma and shame. I have extensive experience treating a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues.
As a member of the LifeSTAR network we offer a comprehensive group therapy model for those struggling with compulsive sexual addiction and their spouses. I work with individuals, couples and families in a safe and therapeutic environment that is conducive to the process of healing and change.
Since 2009, I have been facilitating LifeSTAR groups for both adolescents and adults. I offer free trainings and presentations to Ecclesiastical Leaders, Wards, schools and community members about Pornography and Sexual Addictions and How to Create a Pornography Resilient Family.
David Covey
Counselor David Covey is passionate about helping couples and individuals heal from patterns that hold them back in their most important relationships. He holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Wisconsin Stout, and has received extensive training in addiction and betrayal trauma. David specializes in sexual addiction, and with over 20 years experience, maintains a private practice, as well as providing the LifeStar program in Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Rexburg, and soon to open the Twin Falls office. David enjoys speaking on subjects of strengthening marriage, healing family relationships, and raising emotionally healthy children. He is married and the father of seven. He and his wife spend their time playing with their kids outdoors, skiing and biking.
Reed Hendricks
I have loved my opportunity to work in the mental health field which has extended over 35 years. I obtained my Masters of Social Work at Eastern Washington University in 1983. From 1994 to 1999 I completed all but my Doctoral Dissertation in Counseling Psychology at Brigham Young University.
I specialize in working with individuals and couples who struggle with compulsive and sexual addiction issues. I utilize principles from Cognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as Emotion Focused Therapy as the basis of my professional approach.
I find deep fulfillment in family, in friendships, in outdoors activities, and in learning. I seek to use common sense in whatever I approach, and have the ability to bring a smile to faces of those in my life.
Working as a Therapist is a great privilege, as is being part of Cornerstone Counseling. I look forward to serving you!
Matt Youngberg
Matt enjoys helping others heal and learn to cope with the challenging circumstances that happen in life.
Matt specializes in treating pornography and sex addiction, and treating mood disorders such as anxiety, and depression. He also enjoys working with the many dynamics that come in families such as communication skills, couples work, parenting skills, divorce, and helping blended families.
Matt received his bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies from Weber State University and his Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has been working as a counselor for 15 years
